FAQ

Do you take reservations?
We do not take reservations. We are a counter service restaurant. Order with us at the counter and take any seat you'd like. We are always happy to move tables together for you or accommodate any way we can. Even when our dining room is full, tables turn quickly so you shouldn't have to wait long for a seat even when we're full.
Do you cater?
We offer all types of catering options and can do everything from take out family style trays to full service weddings. We also offer rental options for our space. If you're interested in catering for your next event, send us a message here.
Do you use local ingredients?
We use tons of local produce, meat, and other ingredients. The main focus of our restaurant is using the best stuff that our local producers have to offer. We use more than 20 local farms and during the growing season, most of what's on your plate comes from one of those great farms. In addition, all of our seafood comes from Berkshore (Now Wulf's Fish) and is delivered from the Boston Pier daily. Here are just a small handful of local spots that we purchase from:
Quontquont Farm
Astarte Farm
Old Friends Farm
Austin Brothers Family Farm via Sutter Meats
Sage Farm
Kitchen Garden Farm
Warner Farm
Mapleline Dairy

Do you make your own bread?
All of our breads, pies, noodles, and pastries are made in house every single day.
What is the deal with your house charge?
We are a no tipping restaurant. We apply a 16% house charge to each order. This is both for wage equity as well as combating a tip culture that has a history of exploitation and unfair wage distribution between front & back. You may ask "why don't you just increase your prices across the board?" We have an ever changing daily menu that makes it challenging to do any across the board fixed menu pricing adjustments. The good news is that if you're a good tipper by nature, you get a little bonus each time. If you're not a good tipper, you may pay a little more on your visit.
